ConvertFast is a free, client-side image conversion tool that allows users to convert images between various formats including HEIC, WEBP, PNG, and JPG. Key features include:

• Browser-based image conversion (no uploads to servers)
• Support for multiple image formats
• Batch conversion capabilities
• Privacy-focused processing (all conversions happen locally)

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by the community.

3. User Responsibilities

When using ConvertFast, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not convert images that contain illegal content, violate copyright laws, or infringe on third-party rights
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in ways that harm performance
• Not misrepresent the source or ownership of converted images

You are solely responsible for the images you convert and any consequences arising from their use.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONVERTFAST DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, quality, or reliability of conversion results
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

You use the Service at your own risk. We recommend keeping backups of original images before conversion.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONVERTFAST AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, images, profits, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or errors in conversion
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

ConvertFast's source code, design, branding, and documentation are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Your Rights

You retain all rights to your original images and converted files. We do not claim any ownership or rights to your images. Since all processing happens in your browser, your images remain entirely yours.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our privacy practices.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
