Your images

Images you convert or inspect are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to ConvertFast or anyone else. The conversion code (including WebAssembly builds of libheif, libavif and libwebp) is downloaded once from this site and runs locally.

The format advisor

If you use “Suggest a format”, the text you type (not any image) is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate the answer. We don’t store it. Don’t type personal information into it.

Stored in your browser

Your converter settings (quality, longest edge, background colour, PDF page size) are saved in this browser’s localStorage under the key cf.settings.v1 so they’re ready next time. Nothing else is kept.

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and operations.
